Carroll takes new role at Turner
Turner Broadcasting System Asia Pacific has moved Ian Carroll from the dual role of senior vice president and general manager to executive vice president, as the broadcasting group explores new revenue opportunities.
Turner Broadcasting, part of The Time Warner group, distributes a number of global TV network's such as CNN, the Cartoon Network and Turner Classic Movies.
As EVP, Caroll will oversee newer areas of business such as moving content into mobile and online areas, in addition to managing the company's content sales business and business development.
