SPTI boss Andy Kaplan says that North Asia will be the next frontier of expansion for Sony's key TV channels.
"We are still finding out footing in Korea and Japan," says Kaplan, president, international networks of Sony Pictures Television International, in an exclusive interview with The Asia Media Journal. “Animax is established in Japan but AXN needs to do more in that market. We are doing okay on SkyLife DTH in Korea but we want to build big localized brands in Korea that are in many homes as possible.”
