CNBC Seeks to Move Closer to Local Partners

CNBC is eyeing content deals and closer co-operation with local partners to bolster its global programming, according to the business news channel’s Asia-Pacific president and managing director, Jeremy Pink.

One area Pink would like to see more of in the future is content such as The Nikkei Business Report, a new segment co-developed with Nikkei which started airing earlier this month on CNBC’s global daily business news program Worldwide Exchange. This year has also seen CNBC cut content sharing deals with the Chosun Group in Korea and ABS-CBN the Philippines.
